BROWNWOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Dual Credit

  • Taking Dual Credit courses is an exciting way to jumpstart your college career right here at Brownwood High School. To ensure a smooth transition into these collegiate opportunities, students are asked to complete all enrollment steps by the posted deadlines. Please note that because we work closely with our college partners, we are unable to accept late enrollments—so we encourage you to get started early!

  • We want every student to thrive in the Dual Credit environment. You’ll find the most success by embracing these college-ready habits:

    • Stay Connected: Make it a daily habit to check your student email and portals for important updates.

    • Own Your Schedule: Developing strong time-management skills will help you stay ahead of course deadlines.

    • Find Your Voice: Don’t be afraid to ask questions! Be willing to advocate for yourself and seek support!

  • You Can Check Texas Common Course Numbering System (TCCNS)

-This is a voluntary, co-operative effort among 137 Texas community colleges and universities to facilitate transfer of freshman and sophomore level general academic coursework.

We also reccommend checking the website of the college or university you are planning to attend.
